The Grant County Bank Renovation and Addition consists of a major interior renovation of the current 16,000 SF two story bank as well as a full perimeter face lift on the exterior. The 3,500 SF addition houses the teller lines for the bank as well as the relocated drive-thru services. The structural components of the addition consist of concrete foundations, steel frame structure, and a combination of EIFS and stone veneer facades with architectural concrete columns; which also continues around the existing bank. A new insulated EPDM roofing membrane is installed on the existing building as well as on the new addition. The entire building interior is finished with new carpeting, vinyl tile flooring, ceramic tile flooring, and wall covering.
Externally, a newly designed parking lot layout was created and put down to increase the efficiency of the bank. With a new entrance and more available parking, the crowded business has benefitted greatly. The previously used parking lot was then resurfaced to match the newly added one and create more parking spaces, too. The existing drive-thru, located apart from the existing bank, was demolished and rebuilt as part of the addition to the bank; a much more practical location. In addition to all of that exterior work, the exterior façade of the steel addition consisted of a manufactured stone veneer, EIFS cornice, and precast accents. To tie the new addition in to the existing building, those exterior features are uniform around the entire facility.
